Lessons coming and going

This week I have started a series of lessons on HIV/AIDs in The King John School, the first one was on Tuesday and over the next few weeks I will see all of the year 10 groups. I actually really enjoy taking this lesson, although it is a serious subjec, I try and inform the pupils about it in a funny way. It also gives me a chance to share my faith as a Christian and how we can make postive life style choices.
Also starting soon, Myself and Ian are going to be taking a series of lessons in King John on drug awareness, the best part of the lesson is when Ian shares his testimony about his former life and how he was set free from it. Everytime I have done this lesson with Ian the class is always silent and listening and thinking. Both of these lessons are great chances to educate young people on important life issues as well as taking about a loving God.
I also hope to do both of these lessons in The Deanes school and we have talked about doing them around Christmas time. Please pray for these lessons over the coming weeks
